In routine veterinary practice, lighting is a critical factor affecting the accuracy of observation and the safety of procedures. Conventional veterinary lighting equipment often suffers from problems such as uneven brightness, excessive heat generation, inconvenient adjustment, and limited adaptability to different scenarios. This not only increases the difficulty of diagnosis and treatment for veterinarians but may also cause stress reactions in animals due to discomfort. Based on this, and focusing on actual clinical needs, we have developed and launched the YD195CLED vet surgical light, prioritizing animal comfort and ease of treatment. Its professional design addresses these clinical pain points, providing stable and adaptable lighting support for veterinary diagnosis and minor surgeries.

Starting with clinical lighting needs, while ensuring clarity and adaptability

Veterinary diagnostic scenarios are diverse, ranging from routine outpatient examinations and deep observations of the oral cavity and ear canals to auxiliary lighting for minor surgeries, each with varying requirements for light. The R&D team focused on clinical practicality, establishing a design direction of "clarity, uniformity, and wide adaptability." The device boasts an illuminance of ≥40,000 lx and a lighting depth of ≥1300 mm, ensuring a clear field of view during deep examinations and accurately capturing subtle details of mucous membranes, skin, and wounds. With a spot diameter ≥80 mm, the light is uniform and has soft edges, avoiding strong glare that could interfere with veterinary judgment and minimizing eye irritation in animals.

Optical optimization design, balancing true color reproduction with low power consumption and low irritation

Accurate diagnosis relies heavily on the accurate reproduction of the true colors of animal tissues. We set the color temperature of the vet surgical light to 4800K±300K, close to natural light, while maintaining the color rendering index (Ra) between 85 and 100. This ensures the true colors of animal skin, mucous membranes, and wounds, helping veterinarians accurately assess lesions. This Vet Surgical Light uses a cold LED light source, offering advantages such as high efficiency, energy saving, and low heat generation. It emits no radiation that irritates the skin, making it suitable for long-term continuous use. This reduces heat stress on animals and minimizes discomfort for operators. Furthermore, the seven independently arranged LED bulbs ensure that even if one bulb fails, the entire machine remains operational, significantly improving equipment stability.

User-friendly design, adapted to busy clinical scenarios

Considering the hectic pace of daily veterinary care, ease of operation was a key design priority. The equipment features an integrated vertical design, balancing space utilization with mobility, easily adapting to various settings such as examination rooms, treatment rooms, and operating rooms. Equipped with a quick-release handle for one-handed adjustment, it can meet routine examination needs or be used independently for small surgical lighting, allowing for single-handed operation and saving time. The control panel features "+" and "-" dimming buttons, along with indicator lights, making operation simple and intuitive, eliminating the need for complex adjustments and effectively reducing the workload for busy veterinarians.

Durable design, adapted to high-frequency hospital use

Veterinary examination lights, as commonly used clinical equipment, must withstand the test of high-frequency use and routine disinfection. During the research and development process, we strictly adhered to medical standards in manufacturing, ensuring the equipment's structural stability, reliable performance, and ability to adapt to long-term, high-frequency use. The entire unit undergoes rigorous factory testing; from component selection to overall machine debugging, every step is strictly controlled for quality, ensuring continuous and stable operation in complex clinical environments and minimizing the impact of malfunctions on diagnostic and treatment work.

Development objective: professional lighting to support veterinary diagnosis and animal welfare

The core objective of developing the YD195LED vet surgical light is to solve the pain points of clinical lighting using professional optical technology, providing veterinarians with a reliable lighting tool to improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis and treatment, while also considering animal comfort and reducing stress responses during the process. We always focus on clinical practice, ensuring that this equipment not only meets lighting needs but also becomes a powerful assistant in veterinarians' daily diagnostic and treatment work, safeguarding animal health.
